Study Hacks while traveling
Most of the students have to travel and spend a large time in bus or train in order to reach to college or school. Well, this is not the real problem. The real problem is, that we can not study while traveling by our notes or the textbook because it is weird to carry study material and study that one can easily get noticed and judged by people. If you want to study without being embarrassed in the public transport then we have few ideas. You can try them all.
- Record your voice while self-study: Whenever you do self-study at home you should record your voice reciting your notebook because it is like making a kind of audio notes of your own. This is adopted by the people who are preparing for the competitive examination and they do not have a minute to waste even while traveling. They use to revise various topics, remember important formulae, revising concepts etc.
How to do that?
While study at home you have to just start the voice recording in your phone and put your phone on the table (keep the mobile phone in airplane mode not to disturb you) and study with speaking loud enough to get recorded. Please do not waste extra time to record your voice. Try to do it while you are studying.
- Make PDF of your notes: One more interesting method to study while traveling is by making a pdf file of your notes. You can scan your notes by your smartphone and convert your notes into pdf files by using an application.
There are too many good android/ios/window application which can do this. I strongly recommend you for "Adobe acrobat". - Discuss with your best friend: The study shows that more we discuss a topic the more chances are to keep remember that for a long time.
If you have a friend with you while traveling then you can discuss your doubts and thoughts with your friend, because it is the most effective way of learning things and also remember it for a very long time. You can discuss various things with your friend like- what do you think about XYZ, I have a doubt regarding XYZ etc.
- Watch video lectures:As we all love watching videos then why not use it for our study and development? You can download video lectures of your subject from youtube and see any time even while traveling. for example- nptel is the great youtube channel as well as a website for engineering students for all video lectures.
By watching video lectures you will be able to gain some extra knowledge of your subject and help yourself to be good at something. If you are interested in making something like robots or something which is difficult, you can watch video from youtube because it will also help you in learning something good for you.
- Do short quiz with your friend: The quiz is always being a great way to draw the attention of the people. It is a nice way of getting engaged in the study without getting bored. Also, it will keep you excited and active. Asking questions and answering the question is a great way which will help you to remember things for a very long time.
You can start quiz by asking your friend that do you know anything about XYZ, I have a doubt in XYZ can you tell me? etc. Your friend will certainly give answer because as human being " we love giving advice and teaching people"
