Why participation in college fests are important for college students

Is participating in college fests are really necessary? Should I invest my time in college fest? Will it help me or waste my time?

You must have listened from many people that college life is the best period of your life, it is true but I am going to tell you one more thing.

College life is something which will be going to decide your whole life directly or indirectly. You can take the example of bill gates, steve jobs, though they dropped college but they got something new ideas while in college.

One thing is common among them, They strongly believe that only the college degree is not going to help them to get whatever they want in life, So if you totally depend upon your studies, then it is a matter to think unless you are a genius.

Even after completing college degree if you believe that you would get a good job, then forget it because no company would like to hire a person having no extra practical knowledge and extra activities like management skill, communication skill and situation handling skill and much more than I can think of.

Apart from getting a job, you will learn those skills which will help you throughout your life. And all these problems can be solved by simply participating more and more in your college fests as well as the programs that are organized in the colleges around you. There are so many colleges that allow other students to participate in their college.

There are so many people who found their passion from college and got famous. 

The list is big- Sushant Singh Rajput, amir khan, Anil Ambani, Gautam Adani and much more.

May by you realize your strength in something else other than study like making a band, dancing, Inventing robots, singing, sports, indoor games like chess etc.

Also, we are not saying that study is not important. Yes, it is, but extra activities and the practical knowledge is also very important.
