I know that public speaking is a big deal because had also the same problem before some time. Yet this is also true that being nervous can ruin your all presentation regardless of how important and good content you have. 
Usually, people feel following while they are nervous:

  1. Dry mouth
  2. shaking hand and legs
  3. Twisting stomach
  4. Red face
  5. Sweating palms and much more.
The fear of Public speaking is known as "Glossophobia". According to researchers, around 75% people have the problem of public speaking in the world.

Keep in mind that It is not about being nervous, It is about whether you show it to others or not. Yes, there are few techniques that can help you to hide your nervousness from the people in the audience.
Dealing with fear of public speaking
  • Your body gestures: Lots of guys, start making so many postures as they see others doing in order to make their presentation better, however, due to the lack of the confidence and knowledge they look even more nervous and dumb doing that.
Experts say that if you are not confident to make body postures like a professional then you can stand still while speaking.
  • Shaking legs: There are also some signs of nervousness that can be seen clearly by your audience and shaking legs is one of them.
If you feel that your legs have started shaking then you can start shifting your place. By shifting your place after an interval of some seconds, you will be able to address the different parts of the audience and also be able to hide the shaking legs.
  • Shaking the hand(palms): In the situation of being nervous, our hand also start shaking like our legs. Then to hide this, you can start to make some easy hand postures that will make you feel comfortable.
Some easy hand postures are, keeping your hand folded at 90 degrees and much more.
  • Eat some times before the public speaking: This is very common that our stomach gets unbalanced when we are nervous. Due to this, we feel so many problems.
So, you should eat light food at least 1 hour before the speech delivery if you have the problem of the nervousness.
  • Try to put on comfortable clothes: While public speaking it is very necessary that we feel comfortable and clothes play an important role to be comfortable.
Try to wear comfortable formal clothes while public speaking.
  • Drink enough water: While speaking, as our mouth gets dry. So, it is very necessary to stay hydrated and healthy while public speaking.
You can drink one or two glass of water before public speaking.
  • Stop overthinking: It is somehow related to the law of attraction. The more we think about something, the more we attract those things in our life.
Unconsciously you will attract those negative results in your public speaking by overthinking. Just be positive and try to give your best, forget everything.
  • Listen to soft music: Listening to soft music can keep yourself calm and relaxed. Your mind will be in the present state if you listen to good quality soft music.
So, make a collection of good soft music before some days of your presentation and listen to it before that.
  • Meditation: In short meditation is something, which helps you to control the body and mind. With the help of meditation, some of the people able to live in "Himalaya"
So, if you also start meditation from few days before your presentation, then it will definitely help you to control the symptoms of being nervous while public speaking.
