What is better, taking admission in private college or dropping one year?

Hello guys,
Well, I guess, this is a very important decision of your career. What you will choose, is going to be forever. So, I suggest you think twice before taking any decision. In this post, I am not going to tell you that what should you do because you will get so many people like that, However, I will tell you some important aspects and the parameters you should take into account while taking the decision.
Also, I want to remind you some of the questions you should ask yourself and make a list with a pen and paper of both the pros and cons of the dropping one year for preparation.
- Is college going to help you in achieving your goal? Ex- if you want to join defence, then engineering college will not add more value to it right?
- Are you really capable of scoring good next year mentally and physically? or you are motivated for some time only?
- What will you do if you fail next year again? do you have a backup plan?
- Can you do some productive things with preparation, like learning some new thing? It will utilize your time with preparation.
- Is that private college is really bad? cause there are lots of good private colleges, who provide good education as well as job opportunities.
- Are you sure that, the rank(marks/score) you got this year, will not help you getting good college? cause sometimes we miss good colleges only due to lack of awareness and information.
Apart from these, you can meet those people who have already taken both the decision i.e one has dropped and one who has taken admission in private college, you should talk to them and ask their mistakes, experience and the possibilities about the respective decision.
After making a list, meet someone which is close to you in your family who always gives you best advice(we all have one in our life) and discuss the things which you have listed. It is necessary because sometimes it is difficult to judge yourself as we judge others.
